Dr. Matthew was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He is a 2004 graduate of the University of Florida with a Magnum Cum Laude Honors undergraduate degree in chemistry and zoology. He then went to Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in Boston Massachusetts.

After that, Dr. Matt completed an internship at Hollywood Animal Hospital in Hollywood, Florida.

Dr. Matt has been in his own private practice for over 15 years and has helped countless animals and their families. Dr. Matt specializes in surgery and in small animal medicine and wellness.

Dr. Matt not only has unwavering compassion for animals and his staff but also enjoys giving back to the community. Dr. Matt will always make sure you and your pets have an enjoyable experience at IRBAH, even at the most stressful times of your pet’s life.

He looks forward to continuing to provide the most amazing veterinary service to all IRBAH clients and becoming an integral part of keeping your furry family members healthy for years.

When Dr. Matt is not at the office, he is a devoted father of 4 children, Gianna, Luke, Matt Jr, and Tripp. Dr. Matt considers veterinary medicine a vacation, rather than a profession. 

 Also known as “CC”, is the Office Manager for Indian Rocks Beach Animal Hospital. She was born in Ohio but has been a local for over 44 years.

Cecily makes sure the hospital runs smoothly, allowing the veterinarian and animal care staff to focus exclusively on the health of the animals. She graduated with a Business Degree as well as a Management & Leadership Degree from St. Petersburg College.

Outside of work, Cecily owns her own Pet Sitting Service “CC’s Sitting Services, LLC” for over 30 years. She loves spending time with her husband Mike, son Noah, family, and friends.

She is a huge animal lover as you can tell with her owning 6 pets. She has 2 Golden Retrievers Allie & Scarlett as well as 4 cats: Popeye, Nala, Simba & Roo. 

Nicole is our Head Veterinarian Technician.  Nicole was born in Texas, grew up in Arizona, and moved to Florida in 2006.

Nicole attended St. Petersburg Vet Technology Center. Nicole loves the fast-paced environment of being a technician and the variety of tasks that must be performed with each patient. She enjoys making a positive difference in the lives of not only the animals but their owners.

and Outside of work, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family & friends, reading, sitting at the beach or by a pool.  Nicole loves her Tuxedo cat named “O-R-E-O”.
